Hockey tournament “Prague’s barrel”
Dear friends of sport,
Again, we would like to greet you from Prague and inform you with great delight that we organize the 7th annual of our international ice-hockey tournament “Prague’s Barrel” between
17-20.2. 2011
We take the liberty to invite you warmly to take part in the tournament.
The tournament will be again organized under the patronage of EFCS and in charge of Czech Union of Company Sports.
The tournament will be played at indoor ice-hockey stadiums in Prague - on the first day in groups, on the second day for a winner and the final placement in matches from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Every team - according to its placement - will play maximum 5 to 6 matches in two days, so that there is enough time left for fun and enjoyment of Prague.
During the whole tournament we provide accommodation in a four stars hotel , food three times a day, medical care, bus transfer to all activities, free beer on the playground, and a guide speaking your language.
All teams will be expected to come on 17st February until 6 p.m. (depending on agreement either at the hotel, airport, train station or other places). After the arrival at the hotel we would like to invite you to a dinner which will be followed by leisure time. On Friday night we are thinking of arranging a row on a ship with common dinner. And on Saturday around 19:30 we will hold a festive dinner with the rewarding of the winner who will gain a cup and above all the Prague’s Barrel. The departure is on Sunday 20th June after breakfast at the hotel.
To this invitation we enclose a registration form. Please fill it in and send it back to us by the end of November 2010 which is the deadline. We are ready to answer any of your possible questions. You can find all the details there, including pictures and a brief history of the tournament.
The participation fee including everything mentioned above stays the same, which is 280 € per person (playing or not). However, we offer many discounts, esp. for bigger groups and participants of past years' tournaments.
Do you want to enjoy yourself more? Have more fun? Arrive one or a couple of days earlier or stay longer in Prague. Of course we will provide you accommodation and a guide for this time as well (see the price list).
As it is necessary to make the reservations in the hotel and secure other arrangements, we kindly ask you to confirm the application form and send it back with the advance payment until 30th November 2010. All applications received after this date will be considered only if there are still some free places left.
